Sermon: What is Repentence? What Does It Mean?

Hello my brothers & sisters first of all I just want to say Hallelujah!!! We say repent what does that mean? Well that's exactly what I want to talk about today. We all need to repent from time to time because none of us are perfect. I'm here to tell you I don't care  who you are we all fall short sometimes. God knows this which is why we repent. Lets take a moment to look at Ecclesiastes 7:20: For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. That right there says it all. We all sin from time to time but we have to know how to repent for those sins. When we repent god steps in and wipes our slate clean & forgives us. Don't let anyone tell you that they don't sin because its a lie and they just sinned when they told you that because they are deceiving themselves and the truth is not in them. God knows there is not a perfect man or woman on this earth. Read your word he tells you that he knows. My brothers & sisters I want to take a moment to look at 1John 1:8: If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. That is proof right there what god thinks about someone who claims to sin free. How many of us know the difference between right & wrong? We all should if you don't then you must be mentally challenged. With that being said. Sin is doing something that we know is wrong but we do it anyway. The thing we have to remember is if we get that feeling that says something is wrong with what we are doing and we do it anyway well you just sinned. Take a moment to look a James 4:17: Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and do it not, to him it is sin. Receive that in your spirit because its powerful. God said it so now you know what sin is. Another way to look at sin is all unrighteousness. The only man that walked the earth and was perfect was Jesus Christ. What is repenting? Repenting is the way provided by god for us to become free from our sins and receive forgiveness for them. Remember no sin is worst than another. We can repent from what ever sin we commit. As long as we are ready to put that sin behind us. Repenting makes it possible for us to develop & grow spiritually. That's the one thing that everybody avoids but is the key to us getting in the kingdom of heaven. Once we begin to build our relationship with god he will show us how to repent. The privilege of repenting was made possible by the Atonement Of Jesus Christ. Its a way we do not fully understand because Jesus paid for our sins. How do we repent? There is only one way for all of us and that is a long road spiked with thorns, briar's, pitfalls, and problems. In closing I will tell you this the time has come for you to give your life to the lord. We all need to repent on a daily basis. Its apart of our lifelong progress. Hello my brothers & sisters what a glorious day in the lord. Can I get a Hallelujah today because his power is great. My brothers & sisters please open your bible & take a moment to read Psalm 16:1-2 & Job 35:7. Today I ask you who will you trust because you only have two choices: Satan or the Lord. God says if we put our trust in him he will never leave you. Tell me how good is that. You mean if I just let it all go the lord will never leave my side.Yes the lord will stay with you. God wants us to repent of all our sins & live righteously. Lets take a moment to look at Psalm 16:3-5. My brothers & sisters god is waiting for you to be as one with him just like you are with your wife or husband. You know my brothers & sisters my life was upside down & didn't make any sense until I just let the lord take over. My brothers & sisters lets take a moment to look at  Psalm 119:63. My brothers & sisters I want you to ask yourself something. Am I a god fearing person & is god my everything? Today is the day you need to let it go whatever your holding onto & give it to the lord & you will feel much better. God sees whatever your situation is debt, death in the family, or jobless and he says give it to me and I will take care of it for you. Always remember that the lord is a part of your inheritance. My brothers & sisters lets take a moment to look at Psalm 16:6-7. First of all say Favor!!! Say Favor!!! Gods heritage to you is that he will begin to open doors for you in your favor & he will give you favor with certain people in your life who can bless your socks off. Another part of letting god be your everything is getting in your word. God sees that bible just collecting dust or maybe you don't have a bible. God says pick up that bible and dust it off and read it for the bible is not a decoration it is a guide on how to get  salvation. The lord says for those of you that do not have a bible go to your church and ask for one. The lord says that the only way we will live a joyful life is if we pick that bible up and read his word. We have to let his word be our guideline and let our life line up with his word. God will instruct us and counsel us through his word. Somebody say hallelujah Thank You Jesus Amen!!! My brothers & sisters lets take a moment to take a look at Psalm 16:8-11 & Acts 2:31-32. Somebody say Holy Ghost!!! When we give up our sins and become one with the lord we will be rejoiceth in the lord & thy flesh shall also rest in hope. What does that mean? It means that if we read our word & live by it we won't have those desires of the flesh anymore because he will take it away. Guess what god says he will not let you burn in hell if you just repeat after me: " Dear lord I know I am a sinner and I want to repent for all the sins that I have committed against thee. For lord if it was not for you I could perish right now. Lord I ask you to live inside of me because I'm ready to give my life to you. In Jesus name I am saved Amen!!!" I know one thing if you witnessed the cross and the Resurrection of Jesus. When judgement  day comes you can't say I didn't know. My brothers & sisters we have one more chapter & verse to read and that will complete this sermon. Please take a moment to look at Matthew 7:14. I will say  this & I am going to close. We are all chosen but only of few of us will make it in to the kingdom of the lord. Today I ask you: Are you as one with god or are you as one with your flesh? What choice will you make today. Sermon: What Battle are you fighting.

Hello my brothers & sisters in Christ this is Minister Gill. I want you to take a minute and open your bible make sure you have a king James version. I Need you to open your bible to Jeremiah 15:1-3. Also if you will please read Ezekiel 14:21. My brothers & Sisters where do you stand today because the only thing I can tell you is that sin is death. God has only four judgements for us if we are living in sin. My brothers & sisters is sin that enjoyable that we would lose track of the lord and suffer the four sore judgements. Now lets turn to Jeremiah 15:4 take a minute to read that. Now please turn to Deuteronomy 28:25 and take another minute to read that. Its time to rise up my brothers & sisters and let the lord work through us to do his great works. The battle of sin can lead to destruction. You will be smitten in front of your enemies and you shall go out one way and flee seven ways before them. Man that's powerful you mean god would do that to me. Yes don't get it twisted if you don't turn your life around that's what you can expect. God loves us so much that he warns us all we have to do is pick up the Holy Bible & read his word. Some of you are playing and god says to you " Play with fire and ye shall burn in hell for eternity." Take a moment to turn to Jeremiah 15:5-6 Take your time and read it. My brothers & sisters god does not play with us either your fighting for righteousness or you are fighting for sin. Keep on thinking it is cool to forsake god & you are going to find yourself in bad shape. Don't forget god is your maker and he can send us back to dust from which we came from sooner than you think. Don't think you can keep repenting for the same sins. God will get weary and once he gets weary you better watch out because destruction comes next. Lets take a moment to read Jeremiah 15:7-15 this is the last little reading you will have to do for this sermon. No matter how mighty you think you are you better know that there is a king and he's not taking any shorts. Wake up my brother & sisters its our children who will suffer for our sins. Well you say they just walk around cussing me anyway. If so that means your not living in your word so guess what you won't have to worry anymore because they will be destroyed. Is that what you really want because I know I don't want that for you. My brothers & sisters fight with me for righteousness its so much better for you in the end. My brothers & sisters I say to you if you are weary of sin then fight the battle of righteousness and ask god to come inside your heart and renew your mind.
